Type 95
Details
The only functional difference between the Type 95 and the M249 is the ammo capacity. While the RPK has a lower rate of fire than the M249 or Type 95, it is the most accurate basic LMG when firing multiple rounds, and does more damage per shot than the other LMGs as well.
Always drop to the prone position and you will get decent accuracy for short and intermediate ranges if you fire in short bursts. Watch the heat indicator, if you use the gun with sustained fire the gun will overheat and you’ll have to wait for it to cool down - another reason to fire in short bursts. Go prone in a narrow alley way and mow down enemies as they run down the alley, you can rack up quite a few kills this way. Beware, sometimes some idiot on your team could jump in front of you (while you are firing!) and you’ll end up killing them, so either be ready to let off the fire button, or prepare for a team kill. Just remember you need to go prone before firing – fire while standing and you’ll hit everything but the target.
The LMG is the primary weapon of the support class and is also used as mounted stationary gun.

In the 'real world'
The Type 95 or QBZ-95 is available in three versions and an export version assault rifle, the QBZ-97. There is a standard 5.8 mm assault rifle, a shortened variant carbine and the squad machine gun. The type 95 machine gun uses ammunition specifically designed by the Chinese in the late 80s, a 5.8 mm shell that is fed from a 75 round drum. The weapon is constructed partly of polymer and with a range of 600 m this is a very effective lightweight mid to long range weapon that is best used from prone with its bipod and sights. 1)
